the glandular component is compact tubular pattern with mild glandular and mild cellular atypia.

large intestine. sigmoid colon. colonofiberscopic polypectomy:

tubular adenoma ( adenpmatous polyp with low grade dysplasia)

암과 연관이 있는용종이 선종성 아닙니까?

선종성(tubular) 용종(adenomatous polyp)의 세포들이 나쁜 방향으로 변성(dysplasia)이 되어가면 암이 될 수 있습니다.

일단 용종이되면 기본적으로 변성이 어느 정도는 되었다는 것(low grade)을 의미합니다.

진행되면 low grade에서 high grade로 그리고 더 진행되면 암(cancer)로 진행됩니다.

이번에 용종을 제거하였으니 암에 대한 걱정은 내려놓으시고 대신 주치의 선생님께서 권하시는 데로 주기적으로 대장내시경 검사를 받으시면 됩니다.
